Name: Fiona Morganson

Skills/Powers: Pyrokinetic abilities including the creation and manipulation of fire plus flight.

History: Fiona was one of those children that everyone agreed was just a little off. Even her parents were concerned by her unusual behavior. She was antisocial, aggressive; self centered, and most alarmingly, appeared to enjoy crushing bugs just a bit too much. She also had a strange fascination with fire that really worried her parents. Too many times they found her in her room or the garage playing with a pack of matches or a lighter she had somehow gotten her hands on. Now matter how many times they scowled her, she always found a way to return to the flame.

Their fears were brought to a horrifying reality one night when she was playing with the stove and caught the house on fire. The flames spread much more quickly than they ever should have and within minutes the whole house was engulfed in flames, preventing escape for anyone. While her parents screamed in pain and horror, the ten-year-old Fiona simply stood in the middle of the flames in state of stunned fascination. The fireman who eventually pulled her from the blaze commented on the fact that not only was she not burned at all but that the flames actually seemed to be moving around her. As if they were listening to her. These reports were initially disregarded as stress induced hallucinations.

They were revisited a few years later, however, when the doctors trying to help Fiona deal with the trauma of the fire learned the terrifying truth: the fire only spread so quickly because she willed it so. At first the doctors tried to teach her how to control her powers in hopes that it might calm her rather psychotic tendencies but much like a log on a campfire this only served to fan the flames of her madness. Once they determined she was far beyond their help, the doctors sedated her and had her locked away for the rest of her natural life.

This plan was ruined, however, when Mr. Dark found and released her. Her first act upon her release was to burn the asylum to the ground, doctors included. She then joined the Terror Sect with the promise of being able to use her powers in whatever way she wanted. In honor of her new life she renamed herself Pyra vowed to burn down as much stuff and people as she could. The only one that seems to be truly save from her fiery temper is her fellow teammate Beta, whom she seems to have a particular fondness for.


Costume Details: She seemed almost the polar opposite of Strika. While the former chose to dress in dark, full covering clothes, Pyra chose a bright, yellow body suit that stopped at mid-chest leaving her shoulders exposed and showing of a bit of cleavage. Her arms would have been exposed as well if it were not for the red full-length gloves she wore. To match them she wore red thigh high boots and like the gloves and the top of her suit, they ended in a wave of spikes that gave the whole ensemble the appearance of flames. Her hair only added to the illusion by being a fiery red and falling widely down towards her lower back, it seemed to a flame all on its own. Her eyes were a bright green that shone with a hint of danger, accentuated by the smirk on her face and her hands placed firmly on her hips.

Huh. Oddly enough Pyra's profile is the longest one so far. I guess I just had too much fun with her origin story and showing off just what a little psycho she was even back then. Precocious little scamp, wasn't she?
