Well the REAL title should be Spider-Man/Batman in the vein of the Superman/Batman title but DA won't allow that.

Anyway, I personaly would LOVE to see this be a real comic! As I said in the vein of the Superman/Batman title out now. Maybe it's because of the videos done by ItsJustSomeRandomGuy over on YouTube or the amazing comic done by our very own Yogurth but these two just play off each other so well.

I think it's mostly due to Batman's grim and gritty nature and Spidey's jokey, quippy nature that makes the back and fourth work so well. It's like a buddy cop movie. But with superheroes! Plus as far as their secret identies go you couldn't get more day and night.

It just...AAAAH! I want to see this title! Imagine the first scene of Spidey in the Batcave. Cause I am! I swear if I had the talent and time to make a webcomic even with the figures I SO would do that. Maybe at some point I'll write a fic for them. Maybe.

Anyway this is how I imagine a the first cover to the series would look. The poses are real simple but they just fit the essence of the character so well. Now if only I could put a logo above them I'd be really sit.

*sighs* Shame Quesada has to be such a douche now so that we can't even get another crossover with them, never mind a series. Oh well, that's what fandoms are for, right?

If I saw them in that pose on the cover of a comic I'd buy it right then and there.

Too bad there was never a crossover between these two. Didn't they have Spidey team up with Superman a couple times? But it would make more sense to have a crossover between Spider-Man and Batman, both being more 'street-level' than Superman. And as you said their personalitoes would play off each other so well ^_^

Actually there WERE at least two crossovers with them. I have one of them where they're taking on Joker and Carnage. It was pretty cool. But an ongoing series would be AWESOME! Just too many problems with working it out though. Sadly

Dang, I haven't seen either of them. Must've come out during one of the times I didn't have a local comic shop to go to (which has been many, many times unfortunately for me).
The Joker and Carnage team-up must have been interesting, with two characters that crazy it must have been wild ^_^

Hmmm... about the only way to have some sort of ongoing series now would be to somehow convince Yogurth to continue his current team-up. But I imagine if he doesn't get back to Magic KP soon Kigo fans (and many KP fans in general) would probably lynch him, and whoever convinced him to continue on something else...

I would totally love to see this cross-over. Oh snap, The Joker teaming with The Green Goblin. Scary thought o_o

Joker and Carnage? That's scarier than MY idea O_O; But it'd be totally awesome!

That would be an amazing duo to see in action.
I'd buy that comic for sure.

I was lucky enough to find both crossover comics at a local comic shop, and damn they are great reads.

The first one is called "Spider-Man and Batman: Disordered Minds", and features Joker and Carnage as the baddies.

The second one is called "Batman and Spider-Man: New Age Dawning", and features Kingpin and Ra's Al Ghul.

Personally, I liked the second crossover better, but both were worth the hunt down!

I too LOVE ThatRandomGuy's Marvel/DC series. It's so well-written, funny, touching, and EPIC.

I just have "Disordered Minds" but I really liked it. Mostly because it was drawn by one of my favorite Spider-Man artists of all time Mark Bagely. Plus it was fun to see Carnage and Joker disagree on how to kill people.

Never did see the second one but it sounds like it would have been cool. Maybe I'll have to look for it next time I'm at the comic shop.

Yeah ThatRandomGuy has some great stuff and the finish to the latest Happy Hour: After Hours saga was just great. Truelly nailed down what people love about Spider-Man's character and why they're pissed that Joe Quesadea fucked it up all.
