Martian Girl

The daughter of a brilliant scientist and a high ranking member of the Security Force, Cy-qin-bar lived quite the comfortable life in the underground cities of Mars. Though not nearly as smart as her father, she was still cabaple enough to help him and his team out with their work on the Interstellar Transporter that would finally allow Martians to explore the stars. A dream they had for several years and one that was about to be realized.

A dream that turned into a nightmare when a rogue SF head found a way to block out the natual Martian ability of telepathy and planned a siege on the lab and use the IT as a means of galatic conquest.

Not one to see his device tainted like that, Qin's father sent a quick mental message to his wife before he and his team fought back as best they could. Though the scientists were no match for the soldiers, they provided enough of a distraction for her father to push Qin through the IT to saftey before destroying it.

Though she pleaded with her father to let her stay or come with her, he bid her a heartful goodbye and in a flash she found herself looking up a starfilled sky on a strange new planet. The disorintation of the teleport and the shock of the recent events quickly caught up with her and she passed out.

When she woke up she found herself in an even stranger place with a weird, pale creature looking at her. After a quick mental scan to pick up on the language and location, her host introduced himself as Kevin Spencer, teenager living in a suburb of Chicago on the planet Earth. Qin introduced herself and explained what had happened to her and her parents. They then began tell each other about their respective planets and cultures and generally getting to know each other.

During the middle of this impromptu, late night chat, Kevin's parents showed up and where quite surprise that not only did their 15-year-old son have a girl in his from but that girl was actually an alien! Once their shock wore off they all sat in the kitchen and talked about what to do in this unique situation.

Eventually they decided it was for the best that Qin stay with them and try to keep a low profile while they figure everything else. A plan that Kevin almost immediately threw out when realized that with her telepahty and telekinesis that Qin could be a superhero and help save people in Chicago and it's suburbs. While his parents where vehemently against the idea, Qin herself actually liked it as it would be a great chance for her to get to see more of her new home and help ensure that no one would ever have to face the loses she had.

So she and Kevin threw together a makeshift costume for her and he flew out to Chicago to begin her new career as otherworldly Martian Girl!
