Gargantua

Desperate to find some way to defeat Battle Vixen, Prof. Tech looked into various legends and tales of ancient Greece and stumbled upon she found particularly interesting. From what she decipher, the tale spoke of a giant that was locked away in a cave by a group of Amazons centuries ago.

Being that it was a magic seal that locked the giant away, Tech took the chance that he was still alive and so made her way towards the cave mentioned in the legend. After breaking through the seal with her unique brand of science, Tech discovered that the giant locked inside was actually a *gaintess*!

Apparently she was the wife of the other giant in the cave who had been slain by a group of Amazons after they had plundered a nearby village. They had not planned on her arrival though and they were quickly losing the battle due to her surprise attack and being a much more capable fighter than her husband. Knowing that they would suffer great losses, the Amazons retreated and their mages used their magic to create the seal around the cave that would keep her locked away for all time.

Thanks to Tech, though, that didn't quite happen and now the giantess was more than happy to partner up with this strange woman to get her revenge. Even if that revenge would be on just one Amazon instead of all of them. During the trip back to the states, Tech outfitted her with a device to translate her Ancient Greece to modren English and dubbed her "Gargantua" since every good supervillainess needed a name.

Finding the whole thing a bit odd and tedious, Gargantua never the less went along with it for the sake of her revenge, which ended up being all the sweeter whens she finally did get to come face-to-face with this "Battle Vixen" and found that she was one of the Amazons that killed her husband.

Though much stronger now that she was garbed in magical armor, Battle Vixen still have her hands full in fighting the 50-foot-tall woman and might have lost their fight if not for the timely intervention of Power Maiden. Evne with their combined strength the two warrior women could only fight Gargantua to a stand still.

After several near defeats, the two powerhouses regrouped and decided if they couldn't out fight her they could out think her. Creating a quick distraction they raced off to the Air Force base to enact their plan. It took a little convincing to the higher officers before they were able to secure as much high tensile cable the base had.

By the time Gargantua made her way to the base they were able to enact their plan and quickly ensnared her in the cable which proved to be strong enough to hold her. Once she was secured, Battle Vixen placed a call to The Observatory to take Gargantua away, hoping they would have a place to hold the giantess.

Unfortunately, halfway through transport Gargantua broke free of her bonds and the aircraft carrying her. Surprisingly enough she seemed to disappear after she landed and now lurks somewhere out there in the world, waiting for the perfect time to return to exact her revenge again.
