Becky McKenzie

During her younger years, Becky spent a lot of time by herself. Not by choice, but rather because none of the other girls seemed to want to play with her. She was always the one to be picked last for games if she was picked at all. Naturally this led to her feeling quite alone, unwanted and played havoc with her self esteem.

Then one day on a whim, she agreed with one of the popular girl's remarks and everything seemed to change for her. It seemed if she continued to agree with them and just go along with whatever they said or did they let her be part of their clique and therefore made her feel accepted.

When she got to high school she was quick to become part of Stacy's non-cheerleader entourage and even impressed the redhead enough to become the head of said entourage. Finally feeling some sense of belonging, Becky stayed by Stacy's side as often as she could and was cheered the loudest for her from the bleachers, often times leading the crowds part of their cheers.

So unsurprisingly when Stacy was pulled into the Digital World, Becky was close enough to her to get sucked in as well. Despite being an unexpected arrival, she was not an unwelcome one as Serpentmon could always use more troops that knew their place in the hierarchy. Of course she thought her place was just following Stacy around like a lost puppy but that was just splitting hairs.

She also ended up being the perfect partner for the vampiric Digimon Sanguimon who also survives by feeding off of others but in a much different way. Despite this, or perhaps even because of it, the two actually get along quite well and for the first time in her life Becky feels like she might actually have a true friend.
